We had a theory that the Chilhowee geometry would work well for a drop bar setup with a short stem... we definitely underestimated the potential of this geometry. We slapped drop bars on the Chilhowee and have yet to able to wipe the grin from our faces. Whether it be a simple cruise on a paved/gravel path or ripping down a hard pack single track trail, this geometry can do it all. The slack headtube angle combined with drop bars provides for a stable build that can handle a variety of terrains. We recommend a short stem with the drop bar setup as it pairs well with the combination of the slack headtube angle, extended reach, and increased stack. If you are looking at taking this build out on rougher terrain, try out the 650b wheelset option and we are certain you will not be disappointed.

WHAT IT IS
The Chilhowee was designed by David Lynskey and Chris Lynskey for gravel trails, campground cruises, and endless adventures. Named after one of our favorite Ocoee, Tennessee trail systems, this frame has everything you need: Slackened headtube angle to cruise over harsher bumps, stack increased for ultimate comfort, reach increased for utilizing flat bars, and the toptube is slanted for plenty of stand over height.
