Chilhowee Frame

After several weeks of waiting for the frame and parts to arrive, I finally had the opportunity to test it during a couple of hundred kilometers ride in Sweden. The price of the frame is very reasonable, almost on par with the custom steel frame I had initially planned to build in Poland. The geometry almost perfectly matched my requirements, and I was eager to try titanium as a material. The frame, in size L, weighed around 2.05 kg with all the bolts and hanger, which is quite good for such a large frame. The straight gauge tubing is expertly welded, and my worries about the helix tube making it overly stiff were unfounded. The frame retains the necessary flexibility, providing a comfortable ride. I'm truly satisfied with my purchase. The bike isn't designed for racing, and it doesn't pretend to be one. However, I noticed that it is slightly more twitchy compared to my XC and trail bikes which is expected. Additionally, I wish there was a guide/ rails to assist with wheel installation, as it requires a bit more attention and takes a few seconds longer. Overall, though, I'm very happy with my purchase. In addition to my positive experience with the bike frame, I also had a great interaction with Lynskey's sales department.
